Tomorrow night the people on the ice will go insane, they are going to eat a lot of food and deserts all night and reflect (with help from the tv) on the year that is passing. when they have done this for a few hours they are going to blow up some fireworks, not just a little bit A WHOLE LOT. they spend thousands on fireworks, just to make some comparisons, many (and I mean MANY) spend the amount of my monthly paycheck on these fireworks. Today is the day we celebrate Christmas here on the ice. Tonight all homes will have a nice dinner and open all the presents from under the tree. tomorrow is more like leftover or Christmas parties day and also the day after tomorrow.

Today is the first of Christmas in my home on the ice. My son will leave tomorrow to go to his dads house for Christmas so we are having our holiday tonight, we are gonna eat nut roast and open all our gifts. He is so excited!! It is not ten in the morning and he has already asked about 20 times if he can open just one present.

I am thinking about the past year and what it has done for me. In this year and a half that I have been alone I have been completely alone, I didn't want any contact with anyone of the opposite gender until I knew what I wanted. I have looked into different philosophies and even thought of religions but nothing suits me and what I want. My coffee machine broke so I have been using the stove and a mocha coffee thingy and now the rubber insulation ring is ruined so had to put the kettle on and make coffee with a filter and it is so bad! Mainly because I don't know how to make a good pot that way. I guess I'll pay a visit to the local cafe later on.
