In Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson illuminates the detrimental effects of improperly meddling with Godís creation. The ideal notion is that one would accept the gifts, abilities, and freedoms of choice God embeds in human beings and not strive to transform himself. Our negative desires and urgings can overtake our original selves until we lose touch of who we once represented.
