I'm not exactly sure why everyone always raves over this book. The words are extremely confusing, and it didn't exactly contribute to the way that I or my friends that also read the book look at things. This book book was assigned to me to read for an "Academic Quest". Basically, the top five readers in first thru eighth grade. The book is extremely confusing, and, to understand anything that the writer is saying, you must constantly have a dictionary at your side to aid you in faintly recognizing what the writer is saying. Nobody says stuff like apochrychal or even short words like sordid! I think that maybe at the time the book was written it was a masterpiece, but hey, time goes on and new famous writers make themselves known. If you want to read the best books in the world, read LORD OF THE RINGS! (and Anne of Green Gables). Thoses are true masterpieces!!!!!!!!!!! Frodo rules!
