As a book lover, I guess I'll add my praise to the internet blackhole concerning the Count of Monte Cristo. <br><br>I've read far and wide and it still remains one of my favourites - a deep and involving novel that reaches readers of all ages and backgrounds - from children to old men. <br><br>I read a lot of comments concerning the length of the novel - the 500 page versions are more than likely abridged. It would only be proper that you read the full complete version (I personally recommend the Penguin version).
