"The Count of Monte Cristo" has been my favorite book since I had to read it for English class in 10th grade(that was 24 years ago!) I remember getting the book the first day of class and having to read the first chapter for homework that night.....I was hooked from page one. It can be a challenge to keep up with the characters, but if read carefully, it can be done and is well worth the effort. I have reread the book several times since them and continue to find it amazing. I have seen two movie versions of "The Count of Monte Cristo" and they do not do the story justice.
