I read the book, and when i finished the last sentence, i wanted to start over again. I thought it was an amazingly intricate story of revenge.

I agree, because after the first time I read the book, I went through it a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything, and a third to take it all in. Overall I have read the book over seven times.

same here...I myself have read many times this book..first to see the revenge theme...next the great determination that Edmond had...and finally I read it again to see the historical theme(Napoleon which became emperor, king Ludovic the XVII,the punishment that people received if they were consider Napoleon's conspirators this was happening around the year 1814 during the exile of Napoleon in the island Elba until 1815 when Napoleon was again emperor of France for 100 days)

I read it about twice a year. I love the theme. I wish I could spend 14 years simply preparing revenge, not including the finalization of it.
