All of Jane Austens novels, particularly Emma and Pride and Prejudice, are full of romance, irony, and boundless humour. Though Austen mainly concentrates on close knit families and small communities, i feel that the range is very wide within these limitations. I think that Emma is a thoroughly enjoyable novel, and a great favorite for readers of every generation.
