I seriously think that the ending of Frankenstein is uncannily predictable. You must realize tha of course Frankenstein is mentally off because a) he had no real family b) he was ridiculed for his whole life

I'd never have thought that Frankenstein's creature was just a mental delusion... But what if it's just Walton? His crew are threatening mutiny, they've probably locked him in a room so they can sail home... It's not unlikely that he'd gone mad and come up with this strange story to send his sister. Or perhaps his sister wrote the letters herself, perhaps she'd gone insane and written the letters as, say, her deceased brother Robert in order to keep his memory alive? While we're here perhaps you're just imagining the book. Perhaps what I'm writing now is actually just being subconsciously manufactured in your own mind. None of this is real. Society is just a dream.
