"God makes all things good; man meddles with them and they become evil" (Rousseau) -I too believe that this the ideas that Shelley promotes are to do with the influence that society has on people. The monster is initially good, and becomes bad through his anger at man. <br><br>It also comments on the consequences of obsessive ambition, particuarly in men at that time in history.
