This is one of the greatest books on earth!!! There is no way to misinterpret Mary Shelley... the monster is an helpless orphan, abandoned by his creator. In his peaceful attempts to comunicate with humans, he is rejected because of Victor's experiments awful results. How can you blame the primitive uneducated creature because of feeling revenge... which he learned from us. Put yourself in the creature's shoes... how would you feel?
