you people are all insane. <br>george orwell WISHED for the world to turn into the "horror" of 1984. He despised freedom, he concludes that no individual is in fact free unless someone can grant him that freedom. Individuality is nothing if one is alone. <br><br>Orwell died before he could even realise his dream of seeing the world becoming a world just as he described in 1984. THAT is the real irony in this story.
