Although Animal Farm illustrates the cyclical nature of the rise and fall of governments throughout human history, the fact that this history is cyclical, exposes the weakness inherent throughout the history government. It seems to me that Blair (with his understanding of human nature) demonstrates the fallible nature of the cycle with Animal Farm while suggesting the solution with 1984.<br><br>What happens if, at some point in time, our benevolent rulers realize the technology exists to arrest the cycle? What are we prepared to do about it – anything?<br>
