I have just read this book for a summer project in Lit. I thought the book was very true to what really went on. Before school got out our teachers told us not to read the book until we knew the background of the story. That ment we had to look up The Russain Rev. and all that went on in that time frame. It really help knowing who had what power, who wanted what power and who each charter represented. This book was something that shed light onto the fact that really all of us are like this in someway and we could fit perfectly with one charcter. It just depends on charcter you fit with, how you took the book. I think it was very well written and is a book that will be around and read by many for years to come. There's nothing like a book that can keep you reading and still teach you the history needed to be known in a world like todays. Thank you!
