In the last week i read this book in my 9th grade Gifted English class, some might say that it went over our heads......but quite the contrary. This book puts into perspective the sly way that evil takes over......and i think that this concept is alot easier to understand when Orwell sets this on a farm with animals. As a wrap up of the book, as he has done many years before, my teacher is setting up a mock trial in the class where we have to decide whether or not the character Benjamin should be "sent to hell" because of his staying neutral during this. We have two sides and two judges and each person is a witness for their appointed side. In my opinion this is a great book, one that really does state the truth.
