I found the novel very boring and extraordinarily predictable. The plot is that of a day-time soap opera (which I also find extremely boring). This book is not one that I would recommend for readers who do not enjoy reading! I myself, do not enjoy reading, and as a result became very bored with it. Wuthering Heights is a book that could not hold my attention, and therefore, I put the book aside after reading 90 pages which filled me with agonizing pain. If you need to write an essay however, you may want to read it so that you're not screwed like I currently am. Not a terrible book - if you're boring.
