The symbolism is beautiful, you can feel the cold and walk around the moors yourself. Read it for fun and read it in winter, if you are a nostalgic person. It is not romantic it is gritty with powerful language. I suggest that if you do not like Victorian pieces don't read it and if you do, read it in conjunction with ohter Bronte works.
