right on. i read this book for university english, and had much the same experience as yourself. all these other critics here dont know what theyre talking about

i like many others had to read this book for school GCSE. I was totally lost after the first page, and had no idea what was going on in the book, until about chapter 4. also analyzing and taking apart the poem so many times makes you bored, but i think if i had read this book out of free will i may hav enjoyed it slightly more. this book is definatley over rated all over the world, its not worth the time to read.
