To all those people who said that "WH" is the greatest piece of English Literature of our time, you need to get out more and try some other novels. I found "WH" a difficult book to read the first time, and it was not much better the second time, even though I am a person who loves reading, particulary classics. Bronte's novel is dark, secluded and aggressive, and the love that Heathcliff shows is warped and black with hate and anger. I think that one of the reasons that it is seen as so brillant is because the novel so dominantly challenges the discourses of a typical romance novel where everything always ends up happy.
