Well, I must say that I really do not like Hardy's style of writing. The description is too dense to be enjoyable-Hardy leaves nothing to the imagination, which is a serious failing in any writer. He also drags the story out, watering down a short novel with un-necessary description.<br>I respect that this type of book may appeal to others, but I could never agree with them. I think I read far too many fantasy novels, and have therefore steeped my brain in the likes of Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan and Tamora Pierce...and the rest of them.<br>That is all, thank-you....
