I'm reading this for GCSE and i thought it would be really boring and tedious but in actual fact I'm really enjoying it. The characters are interesting and I can relate to almost every one of them - they all remind me of people I know. The description could be seen as too long and too much but I think it really adds to the story and I find it very effective. I wouldn't have thought to read this book if I hadn't been made to, but now I am, I'm glad I started because it is actually a great book.
