I had just read this book for a grade. I could not get into it at all. I found it to be one of those books that you are still reading and turning the pages, but you are half asleep and you don't remember what you read, but you know you read it. And you are then forced to go back, which wastes your time, and if you are reading it for a grade, like I was, and then having to write a paper on it, it was just a waste of time. Don't get me wrong, Stephen Crane is a good author, but this book did not appeal to me at all.
