The book "The Red Badge of Courage" has some very interesting views of the war at that time. I do still find it very bland. The book is extremely hard for me to follow and just can't seem to understand the meanings in the story. Don't get me wrong! I believe that Stephen Crane is an incredible author, but it wouldn't hurt to make the novel more appealing. I would recomend this book to someone that can really concentrate when they read (preferably someone in high school). Crane's vocabulary usage can really be confusing for some people and shouldn't be read unless you wanted to.
