The Odyssey is the first greek epic that i've read and I was amazed how much I enjoyed it i'd recommend it to anyone! By the way, I think after Odysseus left Troy he was in a ship wreck and somehow landed on the land of the phaiakians (Corfu) so he dreams up all the stories imbetween about the lotus eaters and cyclops etc. And then the phaiakians take him back to Ithaca. That explains the presents on the beach you see. What's everyone elses theory??
