I belive that the story of Odysseus is in some effects true. The Trojan War DID happen, the factor the Gods played in it is however not true. Thought I believe that Odysseus really struggle to get home and, as most stories do, it got exaggerated over time and the Gods had to come in somewhere... True or not, it is good like most of you have said and I enjoyed reading (excerpts) from it. <br><br>*Note* I took a Greek History class where we never read the whole thing, but read excerpts from different translations.
