I read "The Odyssey" for the first time this year in my Honors English class. I think this is the greatest epic poem ever! His word usage and the way things happen to him is kind of like showing you that if you think your life is bad look at his way of living. With monsters and gods! The world would be alot harder to live in. I myslef think of this as a fictional poem and you need to have a wonderful imagination to get this poem! To all of those who have yet to read Homer's Odyssey, please do! it is a fairtytale for big people that we are and yet still have to read fictional things sometimes! Have Fun
