I enjoy reading The Odyssey. It is a very well written epic of heroes. However, I have a problem with this copy that is on the website. It is written with the characters named as they would have appeared in the Roman literature. That is a crime to Homer, for he was a Greek, and it should be written using the Greek names. It is not fair to Homer, nor the reader, to have the book viewed in the Roman manner, for this is a book for the Greeks. Odysseus was their hero, not that of the Romans.
