Although some of you may have read my comment of the Odyessey (posted on the Iliad page) I must say however, that this is a very fantastic novel. Who could have invented such wonderful worlds and rich, detailed and believable characters. Based on such a real life situation (not literally, it isn't very common to go to sea and encounter large bloody monsters and fairies nowadays), since it shows how often parents are separated from children, and this is such a good story to learn morals from. I highly recommend this book to any teacher or student studying literature.
