i enjoyed reading the book the odyssey. it took me a while to get into it but then finally when i did i enjoyed it. it shows us how life was then and how odyssey leaves his son Telemachus for war and then doesnt come back for 20 years. meanwhile gods and goddess try to take over.when he returns nurse wakes penelope and tells her taht her husband has returned and has killed all suitors. at that time she doesnt believe her and has to find out herself. while both sit in quite wondering whos going to take telemachus says to not be foolish. then penelope tests odysseus about moving his bed and he tells her no one can move his bed and then she realizes its really him. its a good book and i would tell ppl if they wanted a good book to read this one.!!!
