Analyzing this play is not an easy feat. There is much symbolism, both intended and inferred, and a great deal of Biblical reference as well. It takes a while to get used to Shakespeare's language and flow of words, but once the reader becomes comfortable with it, reading the Bard is a joy. Has anyone ever realized that this play shows a balance of prejudice on both sides? There are five major conflicts, and only four are resolved.
