a very good summary overall, but why are people saying that it's incorrect as it doesn't say anywhere that Antonio lent Bassanio the money (read it carefully) there's a comma there.<br>Also, it was meant to be a comedy at the time it was written i.e. in 16th century or thereabouts, so even though you might not find it funny now in those days they did!<br>
