i have now seen a filmed version of a stage production of this play, and read it here on this site, and i must say that i am a fan of it. I really love Shakespeare, but i had never read any of his comidies until now, and i think i will read some more of them now. I really enjoyed reading this, the dialogue was witty, and the scenes were comical. Some would say its sexist, but not in the least, when reading you must remember the time period in which this was written and originally performed. At that time, this attitude toward women was the norm... oh well.. i still Loved this play, and can not wait to jump into another of his comedies. I highly recommend reading it if you have not done so yet.
