Shut up you fool. Petruchio was not trying to starve Kate, he was just trying to break her spirit so that she could be loved by all.

This play is possibly the most sexist, superficial, and disturbing Shakespearean production I have ever heard about in my life! How dare putrechio STARVE kate, and throughout the play, does anyone realize that the whole point is to "tame" her like some wild animal?! What disturbs me the most out of everything is that, in the end, Kate still married him even though he set out to marry her only for her money and only to train her to be like every other lady!!!!!!!!!! What is the deal with that ending?? So, he just says "Kiss Me Kate" and all is patched up??? I cant beleive how incredibly offensive this is! At least 10 things I Hate About You wasn't sexist, it clearly showed that Kat and Bianca wanted t be treated like people and Kat had all those morals, but this is truly disgusting!
