There is an excellent web site that has extensive, high-quality annotations of all the Raffles stories by E.W. Hornung, along with original illustrations from when the stories were first serialized, maps of locations mentioned in the stories, etc. The site is rafflesredux.com

Thanks Big Mo.
I'm a great fan, even if I read of Raffles adventures from a somewhat tongue in cheek humorous perspective.

Tongue-in-cheek is a great way to describe it. Certainly one of the things, for me, that distinguishes the Raffles stories from the Sherlock Holmes stories is humor. Interesting that the authors of the Raffles and Holmes stories were brothers-in-law. I wonder how much rivalry there must have been between the two authors.
