There is a Samurai re-make of the play Macbeth. It is my first introduction into Macbeth at all, so this is my first round of reading the play. The movie was done in I think the 1950's or so its in black and white and has subtitles in english while the dialogue is in Japanese. Akria Kurosawa directed it with Toshiro Mifune playing Lord Macbeth. It is worth watching especially the ending, it has a "flurry of arrows" end. Pretty good I must say,.
