Brutus did not kill himself because of the greif of killing Caesar. He killed himself because he would rather die in honor than die in defeate. He would like to be known for killing Caesar and not the coward of being guilty. that is why he wanted to bathe his hands in the blood of Caesar. He wanted to mark himself because he believed he killed Caesar for life, liberty and for Rome. Cassius is a different story i'm not too sure with why he had to kill himself.
