I think the real villian and only in the story is Cassius who wants to kill Caesar for his personal benefit. Brutus is merely one of his misled pawns and Mark Antony is a vengeful person whose loyalty is very true. Whether Caesar was a tyrant or not, those men had no right to kill Caesar. We will never know what kind of ruler he would have become and it is impossible to say. To me, this play seemed more like a play demonstrating loyalty or lack thereof. If all those men were truly loyal to Rome, then they should have tried to influence Caesar to do the best for Rome.
