I read Romeo and Juliet for the first time in the 9th grade. If I wouldn't have had the teacher I had, I would not have enjoyed the book since Shakespear isn't exactly using the words we use today. But the way she explained it, made it so easy that I fell in love with the story. We also watched Romeo and Juliet movie. It was the first version to use teenagers for the part and it was made in the 60's if I remember right. I recommend that to all of you because on reading the story, it does a really good job if you forget the few over exaggeratted scenes.
