to me titus andronicus is a play of humble, human beauty. the violence and blood are so gratitus they transcend themselves and become more like red paint on the large canvas that is this little known drama. there are many other colors as well. grief and saddness are dominant yellows flowing side by side with the red; the two colors blend together to create an amazing shade of orange characterized by the wisdom that the play radiates. we can only learn from titus' patience and brillance as he displays his wisdom in the ending of all endings. who wouldn't want to bake the sons of their enemies and serve it to them under false pretences.
