Regarding the qoute from Julius Caesar: I've read somewhere that Julius often used a retorical third person phrasing about himself, and the correct translation would be "He came, he saw, he conquered!" But I'm not sure so you have to get a confirmation from someone who knows classic latin or historical quotation. Just a friendly tip.:D

Assuming 'veni, vidi, vici' is the correct text, 'I came, I saw, I conquered' is right. -i is the 1st person singular past perfect tense ending. 'He came, he saw, he conquered' would be 'venit, vidit, vicit'.
