A beautiful and extraordinary peice of art. A sum what detailed but not complete exploration into the ways of god, his world and creation. The questions that one bringes upon the reading of such works relates to the way in which humanity seeks reason behind everything. Though one may not find the answers within, it is pleasing to know that the experiences of life in all it's mystery can be shared by those that embrace life.
The way in which Milton uses religion, which is heavily prone to editing and corruption, shows how many people can see their world in different perspectives. This is how humanity exists. Though religion today has faced science and fact, Milton's story keeps the beliefs alive through story. Though I consider myself to be an atheist, I still believe in things. I still hold hope and I have an imagination. This book has the power to unite people with imagination no matter of background or religion.
So in conclusion, I like his works.
