Hi. I was just wondering if anyone could help me with two questions.

1. Is there a truly comprehensive list anywhere of the many published sequels, prequels, fan-fiction novels, etc. that are inspired by Jane Eyre?

(I mean, apart from the stories at fanfiction.net)

2. Does anyone know if any of those follow-ups texts involve more storylines involving the Reed sisters (Georgiana specifically), either as children or as adults? I know the Jane Slayre book does a bit with her. Any others?

Thanks so much for anyone who might be able to help.

I didn't know there were many Jane Eyre spin offs. I was only aware of The Wide Sargasso Sea.

Most is fan fiction. Wide Sargasso Sea is another work of fiction that doesn't name its protagonist, but that is definitely based on JE. So yes, you can call it a spin-off, but I think it's the only one in its kind.

Unfortunately, I don't really read this kind of thing, so I looked at some fan fiction in the past, but it's badly written. I don't have a list. I don't think there is one as it is all quite heterogenous and individual. Maybe have a look on the Brontė blog? Although I find their make-up confusing.
