[Xingyu]

I read The Wind in the Willows while travelling through China alone and I found it to be a great companion. To be sure, China is a vast land that assaults one's sense in every way but this book helped me put everything in perspective in terms of the human condition and the search for self. I never felt alone when I had this book by my side. That this is a "children's" book only makes the story more incredible and poignant.
