The Scarlet Letter is a weel written book that is very symbolic. Hawthorne uses many symbols to express and describe the the characters emotins, feelings, and descriptions. The only trouble I had was that I was wondering if Dimmesdale brand of the letter, "A" is figurative or literal. Other than that I believe this book is a wonderful piece of art.
