I felt that this book was very intellectual but who in their right mind wants to read this in their free time. Don't get me wrong. It was a very good book with its themes and symbolism, but it was too difficult to understand without putting hours and hours of studying in it. I am forced, as opposed to choosing, to read this book for 10th grade AA English class. It will no doubt make us better students, but in my opinion, I felt it was a waste of my summer and time. But all of those of you that like to read boring novels with intricate symbolism, ROCK ON!!! Party like it's 1999. Keep it Real!
