Not every book has to be exciting, but this is one that's more suited for an audience that is willing to sit through alot of stuff. I would personnally disagree with you about it being hard to understand and making no sense, there are few antiquated words and the sentence structure is just slight more formal seeming. I perceived that Hawthorne wrote with a rambling prose that can be incredibly annoying at times.<br>
