I don't understand why alot of people complain about how much they have to do in their AP classes for the scarlet letter. I mean i'm not even taking those AP classes plus i'm only in junior high and i'm already having to start taking notes of symbolism,conflicts, figurative speeches, antithesis etc. At first it was really horrible, like chapter one (way too many symbols) but if you really understand the book and really notice the symbols and antithesis it gets so easy that you're going to start noticing it everywhere
