View Full Version : It was superb
I think that Pride and Predjudice is an oustanding novel. The romance, the conflictions, the snobbery all makes you become absorbed into the book. I think that Jane Austen did a remarkable job at writing P+P and she defentely makes you discover about what times in the eighteen hundreds were like for the rich in England. I fell in love with Mr Darcy as soon as he entered the novel and I also love the silly Mr Collins ( who i very much believe should have ended up marrying Mary Bennet). Great novel for those romantics!

yeap, you're totally right. i felt in love with mr. darcy too and i think P&P is the greatest book of it's time.
Actually, it topped itself as my all-time favourite romance novel.
The tension, the misunderstandings - the drama! If one gets passed the flowery language (which enticed the entire novel), then it's honestly the epitome of romance novels. Except for, perhaps, Jane Eyre, whose story I have been highly recommended but have yet to read.
