Poetry Contest: Beginnings and Endings

Instead of a contest for winter or spring I thought we could do a contest over beginnings and endings.

Your poem can be about beginnings. It can be about endings. It can be about both. It can refer to the seasons. Or not.

Whatever it is or isn"t, I hope you have writing it. The contest entries should be sent to me in a private PM as all entries must be anonymous.

The deadline to enter the contest will be March 21 at 1 p.m. That will give us about three weeks to compose something, to let the muse dredge up something beautiful and meaningful from the swamp of your subconscious.

I hope to hear from many of you. Happy writing, everybody!

edit: I'm extending the contest to March 25th at 10 p.m.
