Unfortunately I have read it in an abridged edition for students of intermediate level of English. Anyway itīs been enough to consider the book as a school for living; a fine picture of human condition where you can find most characters of the real life: love, cruelty, greed, solidarity to conclude that violence brings violence and kindness kindness.
