What I really detest about this book, and Dickens works in general is the idealism he seeks, the poetic justice, the bad Mrs. Joe gets paralysed and dies while the good Joe is happily married to Biddy and has a beautiful son..<br>It's generally tedious and I don't believe that a writer has the right to turn himself into a priest and start teaching people what's right and what's wrong..<br>Sarah
